Nobody's opposed to simple mechanisms if they effectively address the
problem. The issue is - while it's fairly trivial to replay a single signed
message, it gets quite a bit more complicated to do it successfully at
scale. So for our purposes, we've already eliminated the lazy spammers;
what we need are techniques that are effective against sophisticated ones.
This doesn't fit the bill.
