I must apologies for my own poorly worded comment about the setting
of expectations that MTAs provide full coverage of DKIM signature
verification. By poorly worded comment, I meant the one added in the
recent base draft:
[In particular, deferring verification until the message is accessed
by the end user is discouraged.]
