Actually, I seem to have been the only person who proposed killing it-- the rest of you seem to have settled on merely looking at it crossly and hoping it will wither away in shame. By that I mean, I wrote up and circulated an Internet Draft to specify a phase-out plan for RFC 3056 and RFC 3068. I chose not to submit it when it was made clear to me that no such plan could be adopted as a working group item.
