Hi,

I configured my openldap server with ssl encryption. Now i access to
him with an adress like ldaps://88.191.XX.XX:636/. I tested my server
with other application like drupal and it's works fine.

As you said to me, I added the certificate (self-signed) to mono with
the command :
certmgr -ssl ldaps://88.191.XX.XX:636

It's says ok.

Now I launch simias-server-setup :
ldap server: 88.191.XX.XX:636
secured : Y

... It crashed during the installation of the certificate which is
ever installed.

I can add that it's works fine when the openldap server was not secured.

Any advice ?

Open Source iFolder doesn't have this functionality automated yet. We need an

in the local machines certificate store.

Work-around is to get the LDAP certificate and install it in the local machine using
"certmgr" utility provided by Mono. Then using simias-server-setup script
secure LDAP can be selected.

Is it possible to find an open source utility that can fetch the certificate
from the LDAP server in DER format, so that it can be installed using the Mono
utility?

Thanks,
kalis
