Wow, that really blows! So, i tried to install 3.5 as that is the only server version i
can find right now and when trying to do this, i always get "linflaim.so.4.1"

You can't willy nilly install the server without making sure you have
the right version of mono, libflaim and log4net.

If you are using SUSE/Novell then you are fortunate because it's the
only platform novell is building RPMs for on a regular basis. You can
go the subversion directory and pull a bundle of RPMs down.

If you are not then you are for all practical purposes screwed. In
some of the older branches there are RPM bundles but you need to check
all of the dates in the repository because I don't remember when they
stopped building those.

You can always try the source build and go the "make install" route. I
think the flaim libraries are in the subdirectory of the svn checkout
but it's been a while so maybe somebody can correct me.

If you are using Centos or RHEL my advice would be not to bother. Use
something else (like powerfolder) or wait till 3.6 is ready for
general use. Right now there are ton of problems with the 3.5 branch
and it's just worth the headache.
