Unexperienced users will fail to use the Howtos then. Other Spammers want to sell you some small blue pills. So could someone _PLEASE_ enable some sort of account authentication or some sort of captchas for submitting articles. Or check the default permissions (http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:User_rights) and unset/outcomment at least: $wgGroupPermissions['*' ]['edit'] = true; $wgGroupPermissions['*' ]['createpage'] = true; $wgGroupPermissions['*' ]['createtalk'] = true; (-> anonymous users can't edit or create pages) And also use some sort of email-verification ... Fixing these spam-edit's is really annoying and will take your time!
