Inside the rpm the're in /etc/simias and linked to the specific apache directory (buildservice handles this). > 2) There is no need to specify full paths in the apache config files. > You could specify include conf.d/mod_mono.conf and it will work for > everybody. Ok ... but it also doesn't hurt, besides the warning (don't shoot ) ... > 4) simias-server-conf creates an apache config file which will never > be read because it repeats (some of) /etc/simias/apache/defaults conf > file. To clarify that: the default config is intended for use when only the rpm is to be installed -> no use of simias-server-config (simple or "test" - setups). So don't mix these 2 !! Special features (ldap, different store dir, ... ) need simias-server-setup. Before using simias-server-config the old conf has to be removed from /etc/apache2/conf.d !! > Minor issues but they should be deal with I think. Discussion is going on to either run simias-server-setup in %post of the rpm. Then simias-server-setup needs some more work to differ between the distros. A default config with "only" some symbolic links is easier for the average cases.
