http://build.opensuse.org to check it out. In a nutshell...

"The openSUSE Build Service is the only service that allows developers to
package software for all major Linux distributions. The service provides
software developers with a convenient and easy to use tool to create and
release open source software for openSUSE and other Linux distributions on
different hardware architectures and for a broad user audience. "

Basically, you don't have to have different hardware and different distros to
compile your app for other platforms. You upload your sources tell
BuildService what distro to use and what dependencies you have and it pumps out
packages for any distro.

It's as cool as it sounds.

Hi,
I'm all for that. I don't know about build service, but i'm
packaging rpms, i don't have physical boxes to test them out on, the only
one i have is a centos 5.3 x86_64, but i can use vmware server to install
other distros for testing.
Can you give me some details?
Thanks.
Dave.

distros?

I would love to see Fedora and/or CentOS available for iFolder. What we
should do is try to coordinate efforts through the build service, that way
we could have openSUSE, Fedora, Ubuntu and others updated continuously in
one place. Anyone up for that?

Thanks Christopher for the update. Once the rpm is successful, it would be
great if you can update/upload the same in iFolder wiki or send it to
Brent(in CC), who will help update the wiki.
