SLE 10 to SLE 11 upgrade is pretty straight-forward. You just have to insert
the installation media and select upgrade. All the rpms will get upgraded and
all SLE components - on the first run - will migrate if there are any new data
formats.

Before you start using iFolder server on SLE 11. Just to remind you that 3.8
server would require mono 2.4.2.3 and hence needs to be upgraded. Stable rpms
for these are available on mono site.

PS: I still suggest to keep a back up of all your data before you perform
this.

I thought there might have been a generic process.

Anyhow, we are running:

SLES 10 SP2
iFolder 3.7.2.9084
/simias is on our SAN

We'd like to migrate to:

SLES 11
iFolder 3.8

How is this done? I can install a fresh server no problem, but to my
understanding the simias database is different in 3.8.

Thanks. Eric.

I guess it will be helpful if you can give more details on your current OS. Is
it 10.3 ??

Hi,

Has anyone successfully done this migration? If so what are the steps.

Thanks. Eric
