This sounds a little like an error I got when the Apache server didn't
have SSL set up correctly. iFolder server requires SSL for authentication
even if NONSSL is chosen during simias-server-setup . (That NONSSL apparently
applies to file transfers, not the authentication.)
IF this is what is going on (and I'm not sure that this is the same
thing
or not), follow the instructions in /usr/share/doc/simias-server/README.Debian
to generate a self-signed SSL certificate.
(Almost) everything in the README needs to be automated eventually,
including the simias-server and ifolder-server setups.
Otherwise, I haven't the foggiest idea! :)
