Hi,

There is a group of people trying to package iFolder as a deb file for debian platform. It become very difficult to respect the debian policy since the underlying source code doesn't respect some of the RPM guide line.

This email intent to start a discussion to improve iFolder RPM packaging and so improving deb packaging at the same time.

== File under /etc/simias should contains configurations files only ==

Simias package contain multiple file which are not configuration files but examples. Those should be moved from /etc/simias to /usr/share/doc/<package>/examples/

It's include :
/etc/simias/apache
/etc/simias/bill
/etc/defaults.config

.exe files are not linux executable, therefore it should be consider as library file.
.exe.config file should also be relocated.

/usr/bin/iFolderAdminSetup.exe
/usr/bin/iFolderAdminSetup.exe.config
/usr/bin/iFolderWebSetup.exe
/usr/bin/iFolderWebSetup.exe.config
/usr/bin/SimiasServerSetup.exe
/usr/bin/SimiasServerSetup.exe.config
