Hello,

I have installed iFolder following the Howto on

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/iFolderInstall

The basis for this is the stable source code available on source forge.

I now have the problem that renaming a file in an encrypted iFolder
truncates the file to size 0 and all data is lost.

Apparently this has been fixed last year in the commercial(?) version of
iFolder with this bug:

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=619108

The problem is also described here:

http://forums.novell.com/novell/novell-product-discussion-forums/ifolder/412797-serious-sync-problem-file-size-0-a-post1985209.html

Is this fix available for the OSS version? Maybe in the svn or as a
seperate patch?

Any pointer in the right direction would be appreciated.

TIA,
Robert.

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
