As you're probably aware, Leprecon will take place in Goldsmith
Hall, near Trinity College, Dublin from February 24th-26th, 2006
(i.e. the weekend after next). On behalf of the RPGA, I'd like to
thank Leprecon for inviting us to have a presence there.
As the local campaign representative — we used to have Paul Looby as
head of Europe but he quit early this year — I just want to post
some blurbs and the like for the games I'm hoping to run. You need
your own character, but there will be pre-generated characters on
standby for you if you like. Full information on www.wizards.com/lg
(look for campaign standards).
The Living Greyhawk campaign allows you huge flexibility. Unlike a
regular RPG campaign, you can bring your character from event to
event at will, skip a while, move from home game to convention and
back, and so on. Events will be running basically all weekend, on a
free-flow system. As well as an introductory event for new players,
we will have the following events are on order:
TSS5-03 The Medegian Job by Luke Pitcher
Finding a book for a scholar in Rel Deven. An easy enough task, one
might think. But the book is in Mentrey, once capital of shattered
Medegia. And the shadows of the Greyhawk Wars fall long and dark
upon your venture… A one-round, Splintered Sun adventure for APLS 4-
14.
ONW5-02 The Rescue by Thomas Ian Smith and Thomas Ralph
In all the years of the Brotherhood occupation many have been slain,
but a worse hurt are those that have been enslaved, sold or worse—
simply disappeared. Milos Feralen of Sornhill knows where some are,
can you help him get them back? A one-round Onnwal regional
adventure for APL 2-12.
Note: Cannot be played by a character possessing the additional Rary
Cert from the module To Kill a Kesh.
COR5-16 Here Comes the Sun by Pierre van Rooden
Blistering heat has plagued the town of Hardby for weeks, and it has
not been without incidents-people get irate, all work has slowed to
a crawl, and now the tinder-dry homes fall victim to frequent fires.
Mere incidents? Or is there a history to it all? A one-round Core
adventure for APL 2-8.
COR5-12 Return to the Undercity by Christian Alipournian
Homes are burned to the ground and whole families vanished. There
have been humanoid raids on lands within the elven nation of Celene
itself. Along the Wild Coast, dark rumors are spoken about slaver
vessels flying yellow sails along the Wild Coast. And now an agent
sent to investigate the rumors of the return of the Slave Lords has
disappeared. Can you ascertain if this sinister force has returned?
A one-round Core adventure set in Celene, the Wild Coast and the
Pomarj for APLs 2-8.
