I remember reading on this list that you can qualify for a gap playing the
Irish national up in Dublin.

discussing if we will be able to take part in the world tourney. Just
to see how high the level is (I have heard one of the Irish men
qualified third). I know that in Spain, where I am originary, you had
to beat the nationals first, and then you were able to go there. Any
guidance will be nice!
Anyhow, I am just decided to go to Essen this year, just to take a
peek in that big conference. People have been telling me that's
awesome, and the flights from Shannon to Dusseldorf,near Essen,are
very cheap. But let's wait some time, as it will be held in October.
