Well I did my usual 40K and then helped out putting on a Bloodbowl cup.
It was good fun, only issues were with start times, nothing started when it
should have a lot of that was because people had to shuttle back and forth to
the main desk for tickets and what have you. Not sure what can be done with
that, being hard line with the times can spoil the atmosphere of the games.
It's tough to police the tickets with the games spread out all over campus but
this year was the first year I noticed a few people taking the mick out of it
and sharing a ticket or 2 between a group. Might be worth having a few minions
on doors each morning checking badges.
Having stuff locked away in the Boole on Sunday was nearly the kiss of death
for Bloodbowl. Thankfully people brought extra boards and the games went off
well.
