You could go along to one of the gaming nights in the city, there are a number of places that you might find a game to join: the IGA Thursday gaming night at Cassidey's of Westmoreland Street is pretty cool and fairly new, so there are things getting started at the moment. There's a regular gaming night in the Merchantile on Dame Street on Wednesdays as well. Both start about 7pm and the bar staff will know where to direct you.
Another place to look would be the Trinity Gamers forum, I know we've had a few people looking for games in the last while. http://societies.csc.tcd.ie/~gamers/forum/ You'll need to sign up to the forum, but that shouldn't take too long.
