ok, virtual IP set, firewall modified to allow both addresses temporarily.
didn't change anything in apache's config - there seem to be a
'NameVirtualHost' entry for the former IP (192.114.47.57) in
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf - does it need changing inorder to be able to
serve both IPs? doesn't _seem_ so, since i managed connecting to the web
server's top page using the new (192.117.122.34) IP address, as well as
'/IGLU/' (tried both using telnet to port 80 of the new IP address).

i guess that next comes the DNS change, and after the old TTL expires, we
replace all occurences of the old IP address with the new one, e.g.:

1. /etc/hosts
2. /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
3. firewall script (/etc/rc.d/init.d/firewall.init)

anywhere else?

thanks,
