Perhaps a server in another ISP? With all due respect to actcom (and respect is due!) not all people are connected there. > * a local sourceforge like development site, for israeli (hebrew?) > related projects This would help, but I'm not sure there is such a high demand for that. It seems that there are enough servers at the moment around the world (see my recent post to linux-il). Although I can also note that currently only linux-il has a decent israeli archive (ivrix-discus's archive is non-searchable, and most others are archived at mail-archives) Keep in mind that the main problem with the current server is lack of programmers willing to enhance it. > > what else? the specs for this server are not known right now, but you > may assume a reasonably fast UP (single processor) IDE machine, with a > big IDE disk (40 gigs? 80 gigs?). -- Tzafrir Cohen mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.technion.ac.il/~tzafrir ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives available at http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
