_except_ for ther kernel, as was proved in the last kernel update (mirror
wiped out).

is our apache installed from an RPM or compiled from source? i think it's

ah, no. the port is open - use it. disabling the firewall (for a second)
tends to turn out to 'firewalling remaining open for 2 hours because there
were problems in the newer ssh vesion' and since the mahcine is constantly
being port-scanned - book.
