I installed OpenSSH 3.4, due to security problems in earlier versions.
In the process, I also enabled privelege seperation, which has the
unfortunate side effect of disabling compression. I am hoping future
versions will solve this problem.
I also added a group called "updaters", and set the /usr/local/src
directory to it. If you are compiling packages for IGLU, please both
download and extract the package inside that directory, under your user.
This way we can know who did what and when.
Also, I remind you to leave a "compile.sh" file behind. The fact that
such a file was left from compiling OpenSSH 3.1p1 saved me ~10 minutes
when compiling 3.4p1, because I only had to add the new features, but
did not have to recheck installation directories etc.
