I hate to butt in because I have no idea what kind of hardware is on the
IGLU mahcine :(

But the reason *exponential* growth is nice, is that there is no reason to
add a drive - you can simply replace one: if you have an old 10 GB disk
and get a new 80 GB disk, is there really a reason to keep that old 10 GB
disk in the machine? If one of your drive bays (and IDE channels) is taken
by a CD-ROM drive, you can get rid of that too.

Anyway, I better shut up now because as I said I don't know anything about
IGLU's hardware or the decisions that have been made on what to mirror and
why. I only raised this issue because what seemed to be the favorite topic
of discussion here in the last week was the lack of disk space.
