but they are too general.

and each time people complain things are right or wrong, no standard
procedure for posting. 

on SVLUG (for people not subscribed) job offers are sent to the LUG's
officers (i.e. one of us in our case I suppose) and those are filtered
(is it Linux related? is it in the geographical area? is the offer
supplying enough details?) and the posts are prefixed with JOBOFR in the
subject so they are easely found/filtered.

I don't mind moderating it this way either... but it should go into the
FAQ.

I'm sure that a separate list yould embarass less people to post resumes
and make life easier for the employer posting the ad. especially if we
don't limit the ads to linux but for plain any unix.

however if nobody supports here the idea it will hardly work. this
should be published and get public exposure if it is to work (so
whatsup, penguin and others also publish a link to its archive),
otherwise it's not worth bothering for.
