Until a couple of days ago, the Sobig.F worm was very very active - in fact it was the most "prolific" (in the amount of crap it sends out) worm I've ever seen. I got hundreds (!) of emails a day from this worm - both copies of the worm itself and bounces from people telling me that "I've got a virus" and bounces from wrong addresses the worm was sent to supposedly from me. I suspect that many of the bounces you saw in the last few weeks came from the same reason. > All in all, wer'e talking about 350 emails a day, so whoever says "I > do", should also be in a position to do something about making the > problems that are generating all of those emails go away. It's been almost 4 years since I was last able to handle my own mail without automation. I assume many other readers of this list have the same issue; 350 extra emails just means extra automation. But don't get me wrong - I'm not volunteering to do it :) -- Nadav Har'El | Thursday, Sep 11 2003, 14 Elul 5763 [EMAIL PROTECTED] |----------------------------------------- Phone: +972-53-790466, ICQ 13349191 |"Did you sleep well?"
