I looked at the mandrake 9.0 updates. The source used for all mandrake files is carroll.cac.psu.edu . I currently see two rsyncs there and I figure that they time out. ftp://carroll.cac.psu.edu/pub/linux/distributions/mandrake/updates/9.0/base/hdlist.cz is from 21-Nov . http://iglu.org.il/pub/mirrors/mandrake/updates/9.0/base/hdlist.cz is from 9-Oct (!). On their rsync message I see: Public mirror sites who use our rsyncd may want to contact us for access to a restricted-access rsyncd to better avoid being blocked out. Please send suggestions/comments to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Has anybody contacted them? I was able to download at least one file by rsync, so we're not totally blocked. It seems that rsync is being run. It seems that some newer files were even recieved. e.g: in logs/03-11-20/mandrake.log-03.00.00 I see 9.1/contrib/i586/uqm-data-0.1-2mdk.noarch.rpm . But maybe I miss-read the logs, and this is the only file in the files list. -- Tzafrir Cohen +---------------------------+ http://www.technion.ac.il/~tzafrir/ |vim is a mutt's best friend| mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] +---------------------------+
