You're right, there was a problem with the configuration of the web-server.
Someone disabled mod_php yesterday (who?) in /etc/apache/httpd.conf
yesterday. I restored it and now everything works fine.

Don't ask what I had to go threw to test that everything was OK. First of all
my ISP's f******g proxy cached the application/x-httpd-php response, and then
every brother I tried refused to display it on the screen, and I couldn't
press the reload button, to refresh the proxy's cache. As I went to try to
configure the konqueror bindings to do just that, somehow my KDE
configuration got messed, and the application/octet-stream mime-type was
disabled, which made my KDE configuration half-unusable. So I had to detect
what went wrong by comparing my $HOME/.kde directory to the one from the last
backup. (which I luckily still keep on the hard-disk).

Only then I was able to configure konqueror properly, and make sure the site
is viewed correctly. (after reloading it of course). Sorry for bothering you
with this tale, but it made me very angry at the computer for a brief period.

Now we have to investigate into who disabled the php4 module and why.
