Hi all!

Due to the fact I switched my POP hosting from Godaddy to my hosting provider,
I end up receiving a great deal of viruses to my POP inbox, which end up with
me having to download MB's of useless E-mails. Thus I'd like to filter these
viruses once they arrive on Eskimo, before they are sent to my POP account. I
assume other people who have E-mail forwards on Eskimo could benefit from the
same service.

Note that I'm not planning to make the virus-filtering mandatory for all
incoming mail, but rather that each account can enable it.

So what I'm going to do is:

1. Follow the instructions on http://www.clamav.net/binary.html (under Debian)

We'd better configure the Debian volatile source, so the ClamAV packages would
be better updated.

2. Install QClam under /usr/local/apps/qclam/bin/qclam:

http://sageshome.net/oss/qclam.php

2a. Mention it in /iglu/meta/Programs-Installed-From-Source.txt .

3. Prepend a line:

<<<<<<
|/usr/local/apps/qclam/bin/qclam
>>>>>>

For every dot-qmail file under ~alias that wishes to use ClamAV.

Regards,

        Shlomi Fish
