Hi all!

Since Eskimo seems to be close to using all of its RAM, and in order to make
it scalable to future needs, we'd like to increase its RAM to the model's
maximal amount of 1 GB.

For this we need to buy new SDRAM units (either 100 MHz or 133 MHz would be
OK). It's possible the model supports only 256 MB per slot, so we should
probably get 256 MB-sized units.

I am willing to sponsor some of the monetary expenses.

Now the question is: how are we going to buy it?

We have several options:

(1) We can get a 256 MB SDRAM unit at 308 NIS on:

http://xrl.us/msv6 (plonter.co.il)

4 such units will cost us 1236 NIS.

(2) We can try looking for such units at:

http://hwzone.co.il/tradezone/index.php?bbstype=offered&cat=4

(3) We can first try asking for people from Linux-IL to donate such old used
memory units they have lying around.

Meanwhile, I'll post a message to Linux-IL about #3, but I'd like to hear your
comments about our other options.

Regards,

        Shlomi Fish
