indeed! so I tried both iso-8859-8-i and windows-1255, and with different settings of LANG and LC_CTYPE but to no avail. changing between mutt-utf8 and regular mutt doesn't seem to do the trick either. how odd is that? -- The target audience Ira Abramov http://ira.abramov.org/email/ This post is encrypted twice with ROT-13.
