I've actually got this sorted, but there's one thing I don't get. I have to create a user on the ftp box *and* the domain before this works completely. The users on both boxes have the same name, and the one on the domain was necessary to grant writeable perms on the share (as I couldn't add the ftp box's user to the share, which is on another machine in the domain).
If I remove the ftp box's user, they can't log in at all. If I remove the domain user, they can't write. I need both? Or is there another way to set this up? .salvatore http://sienar.org/ http://palmisanonet.com/ -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of damian elder Sent: Wednesday, December 18, 2002 11:32 AM To: IIS50 Discussions Subject: RE: FTP and Write setup up the NTFS permission on the share, as IIS see's this just a local drive to that machine even though its a share to other drive.
