If you want to try from the console, go to the directory where you downloaded the file (I'd suggest downloading to your desktop and running "$ cd Desktop" in the console). If I remember correctly, the command for installing rpm packages in Mandriva is urpmi. So, # urpmi <name of the rpm file you downloaded> This should do it. And of course, you need to be root to run the above command, so do run "$ su" just before running urpmi. Hope this helps.
