Hi IITians,
Its proud honour for me to work with IITians(Pride of
India).As i am new to this group and people,I like to work for linux
development in India.IITD is really working nice job in enhancing the
knowledge of linux among People in IIT through their IIT-LUG Program.
Govt of India is also working on prolification,development
and enhancing the use of linux in India.NRC-FOSS(National Resource
Center for Free and Open Source Software) has taken initiative to work
on Indian version of Linux.They come up with solution - BOSS GNU/LINUX
(Bharat Operating System Solutions) an Indian version of Linux
supporting 9 Indian Languages developed by C-DAC as Initiated by FOSS
activities.I would like you to try BOSS GNU/LINUX as a Operating
System to enhance Indian Linux Version.An ISO image for BOSS GNU/LINUX
will soon be uploaded in IIT-Delhi Internal servers.
Join Hands in promoting Indian LINUX and contribute to the National
Development.
