I am new to linux. as i am in 1st year.i have installed ubuntu 8.04 now I want to play .avi .mpeg .rmvb etc video (totem is not playing anything) what are the method to play? how to install java plug in in firefox? and i have to do something special to install eclipse? or i need to install just eclipse and eclipse-jdt, what else i need to install to use eclipse and javac?
