If your installation has gone ahead correctly suggest update with online repository and installing missing packages like these if any? If it has not gone as planned you could use the custom etch iso on local repo (http://10.10.4.1/pub/Linux/Debian/misc/etch-custom-1013.iso). The etch internal repo is of course available which has all these packages. You could also consider downloading the etch CD available there and getting these packages. Instructions are there at the usual place http://lug-iitd.org/Articles/Debian_Help You can go for Debian Lenny(testing) if you need newer packages. Best Regards Gajendra
