The simplest solution would be (assuming you don't mind reinstalling Ubuntu once more -- shouldn't take that long) is to boot from the Installer (live) CD and resize the partition manually when reinstalling (don't delete the windows partition when given the option, instead delete the partition after the windows partition to make free space and drag/resize the windows partition).
