dude backtrack may may and may swipe as it is a modified lenny version not a
scratch version and these generally delete all the data from the hard disk
... as an student my advice is use vmware to install it first and then
install it on your machine because

a similar type of modified linux cluster administration server has swipe up
my hard disk 3 month back >>>>>>>>>>
