Gajendra , Mayank and et al i see numerous requests from folks on this forum for downloads and bandwidth limitation woes , do you see solutions like this http://www.nrcfoss.org.in/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=124&Itemid=110 will work? or something like this http://freedomtoaster.in/ will be helpful. My observation about students in general is they grab the latest and greatest from web just for one reason of ie: there Hardware not working or some eye candy feature once installed they forget and get over to the next distro , They don't realise they have lost an opportunity to learn and contribute by not facing the issues and trying to solve them. from what i understand Foss Lab server will be more than sufficient for dev needs , toaster is one idea which i think will be more apt in your scenario. some more links for reference http://www.freedomtoaster.org/node/14 http://freedomtoaster.org/Build -Satya http://www.linkedin.com/in/satyaakam --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ l...@iitd community mailing list -- http://groups.google.com/group/iitdlug -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
