Just see what Quarkexpress does for publishing houses. Its sad that even the FOSS magazines use Quarkexpress. Its a monopoly and at the same time, a nice opportunity for FOSS proliferation.
Monopoly Non-Free Products like Autocad, Matlab, Quarkexpress and Final Cut studio need be replaced by FOSS alternatives. BRL-CAD and OCTAVE/SCILAB are nice initiatives but we need more effort.
