Hi,
I have installed XP . But when i try to install i have to make a change in
BIOS
from IDE to AHCI, otherwise installation get stop and system goes to sleep
mode.

Ok if i installed with AHCI storage mode then Ubuntu can be installed
properly but
when i try to run XP system starts rebooting after showing window logo again
and again.

But again when i change SATA emulation to IDE XP works but ubuntu doesn't
work.

can you solve it. Such type of problem is discussed here:
http://forums.pcper.com/showthread.php?t=444831

But this is not working in my case.
