download and read it fully.
If possible purchase any good book on Linux.

*I saw this approach : *Student is able to download Linux Distro and his
friend will install Linux on his PC. He he can login to linux and start
firefox and vlc. he think that wow Linux works for me. After that he will
face small small problems and he will directly just to this type of mailing
list. He even do not know full power for bash scripting and daemon. He do
not know many thing but still he work and get frustrated for many common
problem. I saw many new user to ask very silly question. Actually this
apporach is wrong. If you install a new Distro or Software then first
purchase good book or download good book and then read it fully. It will
take some effort at initial stage but it will boost your productivity very
much. you all are any time welcome on mailing list but please *don't try to
lean only using mailing list.*

Also try press "F1" any time. You will be default help pages. They are also
useful.
