It's a good idea parin.

But you know, imho along with newbie friendly stuff.. we need to go
beyond newbie oriented activities and build a real computing culture-
which can give birth to the next google /twitter or atleast the next
bsd or linux.

For that i feel that a community where apart from converting newbies,
expert level knowledge is shared and people interact; is important.
