FOSS in a different world and it has a learning and sharing culture. We call it as hacker culture. We call it geek culture. We maximize our possibilities with given minimum set of rules. But there are companies (ex, M$) which has bad practices and bad approach to do business (ex, monopolies, software patents) which are danger as well as restrictions for us to develop software. We only oppose bad practise by companies (who so ever does).
