Hi everyone, First: Actually a friend of mine has XP professional installed on his computer n wanna install ubuntu with it on some other drive but when ubuntu cd is put during boot tym..... and it boots using ubuntu CD a DOS type terminal of ubuntu is opened with admin as root: ad...@... : somethiing like this was in prompt. Plz help how to move ahead with the installation n provide necessary commands if necessary. Note:with same CD on another computer normal graphics installation interface comes so if possible metion the reason for this terminal interface in this case
