For Ubuntu inclined, I usually recommend using Ultimate Edition since it has the packages one usually needs (for which you're talking of making a bundle). For those looking for a pure ubuntu, I recommend downloading unofficial builds of DVDs of Ubuntu packages put together by Iang at his university server:- ftp://kambing.ui.edu/pub/ubuntu-repository/ So one doesn't really need a Project Deb Bundle in my opinion even if you're an Ubuntu user in my opinion.
