Hi all, I am a newbie to Linux. I have installed a karmic koala and i was able to update it regularly from the hostel in iitdelhi. Today, iitd has changed their proxy url. I don't understand much of what they have done. The system they call kerberos.
i have tried using the url they gave in the HTTP proxy text box along with 3128 port and authentication details. does not work. My mozilla works well . with just the proxy configuration in automatic mode. Can anybody suggest on the way to establish the connection for ubuntu (Karmic Koala) to update itself.
