IMHO, there is a plethora of custom distros already flooding the scene. A basic installation should be given to net connected user who can switch between two custom flavors at will. There should be an easy FSM type approach where user can 'SWITCH' between distro flavors. Like if user has 'puppy linux' mode and now 'chemistry linux' is needed, there should be a simple unified interface giving the switching choices with details.
