All I see as compromising some freedom (by using twitter, facebook) is good idea for getting wide presence of community. There are many students who are in facebook and not aware of google groups and mailing system, they like forums, So It is good to create facebook community too.. All we need a wider acceptance of Free software/Open Source and Open Standards. PS: I have told many time that Open Standards is more imp topic then Free Software/Open Source. I can accept compromising some freedom (like very few times I use Opera(a non-free browser) because it support some SVG feature which firefox do not and my project need those features) But I never compromise for Open Standard. Always ODF, OGG any cost. Follow this approach. -- l...@iitd - http://tinyurl.com/ycueutm Subscription settings: http://groups.google.com/group/iitdlug/subscribe?hl=en
