Yes, nameserver is present. dnslookup was working.


On the same machine, internet on windows is working  fine.
There is some issue on connection timeout and Lucid. I have followed some to
the tutorial on web -

I think there is something wrong at system level which prevent for making
port 80 tcp connections.
I can instruct only via phone !!
It take me 10 minute to dictate single command line #cat /etc/resolv.conf
:(:(

Somehow, he was able to login in gtalk using default IM of 10.04, Google
chatting is working fine using IM.  wget is still showing same problem, So
something wrong with port80
