The point I was trying to make was that USB and device drivers are a vast ocean, and you need to define the scope of your work. As I mentioned to you earlier, there are many layers of specification involved, and all of them have been implemented. You should be able to understand them from existing code, and you don't have to write one, unless, you have a really good reason to do so. If you only want to send packets to the device, you can try using libusb [1] from user-space. Good luck!
