Hey Rohit , just install FILEZILLA by $yum install filezilla or$sudo apt-get install fil* Then check whether in FILZILLA,, ur local server is working or not. using "localhost" as address. If it works then ok. To access from other machine check for FIREWALL(should be disabled) and SELINUX policy.
Even if it not works which error ur getting. I have made my system FTP server 2 months ago in FEDORA 11 and it worked fine.
