As part of the Syllabus revision commitee of UP State Technical University (UPTU) in 2007, I made the entire CS & IT final year lab syllabus in open source. Three batches of UPTU CS and IT have passed since then. Still, I see only a microscopic minority of the colleges ACTUALLY implementing it. I am forwarding this mail to GLUG Meerut also, as many faculty members are part of our GLUG and they must know how to deal with Open Source.
